Holiday for the Talibe (Lagune - Somone, Senegal)

For our very first project day, we invited a group of talibé children to experience something completely new: a day by the Lagoon. With the help of professional watersport instructors, the children enjoyed a boat trip, followed by games in the water, football and games on the beach. We shared a nice warm dinner: Thieboudienne!

For many, it was their first time on the Lagoon, visiting Mangroves and playing in the water — and their excitement was unforgettable. After the activities, we shared a warm meal together, followed by music, dancing, and big smiles all around.
